Here we have a trio of vintage Antigua lovelies in the form of a 1977 Jazz bass, a 1977 Telecaster & a 1978 Stratocaster. I have these for sale individually, but if you as a true collector wishes to purchase these rare pieces as a set of 3, then the price is drastically reduced for all three together! Please feel free to buy them as individual guitars as shown in our other shop listings, but as soon as one from the set is sold, then this offer will end!  JAZZ BASS: This is a really lovely example of this now highly collectable Fender Jazz. The visual allure of the ‘Antigua’ Burst just pulls you in! This is the first year of production in this colour for the Antigua Jazz model. She is in great all round original condition with acceptable play-wear for the year & has a superb mojo to her! She has a lovely arrow straight neck and great action. A maple neck with a medium-round profile, 1 1/2” wide nut, bound maple fretboard, 7.25” radius, and block inlays. She has had a change of pickups probably back in the 80’s to some very punchy DiMarzio’s. She comes complete with her Fender hard case. TELECASTER: Here we have a really excellent & clean example of this now highly collectable Fender Telecaster. The visual allure of this ‘Antigua’ Burst Telecaster just pulls you in! This is the first year of production in this colour for the Antigua Telecaster Model. Created as a limited option finish for Teles & Strats starting in 1977, this guitar is everything you want out of a classic Tele but with a finish that catches the eye. It creates some serious vibes and sounds fantastic! She is in extraordinarily great all round original condition with very minor play-wear. Has a lovely arrow straight neck and really low, fast action. The pots date her to 1977. She comes with a none generic hard case. STRATOCASTER: Here we have a really great example of this now very collectable Hardtail Fender Strat. The visual allure of this ‘Antigua’ Burst Strat just pulls you in! This is the first Year of Production for this Stratocaster Model. She is in great all round original condition with acceptable play-wear for her age. Has a lovely arrow straight neck and really low, fast action. The pots date her to 1978. She comes with her Fender case. Created as a limited option finish for Strats and Teles starting in 1977, this guitar is everything you want out of a classic Strat but with a finish that catches the eye. It creates some serious vibes and sounds fantastic! Some general blurb about these Antigua models: After a 10 year hiatus, the Antigua finish was re-introduced by Fender as a factory colour in 1977. Originally on the Coronado in the sixties this striking look was now offered for Telecasters, Stratocasters, Mustang guitars and basses and Jazz and Precision bass models. In early 1951, Fender renamed its only production solid-body guitar the Telecaster, replacing the short-lived Broadcaster moniker used in late 1950. The Telecaster quickly became the guitar of its age, propelling the status of the solid-body electric guitar from novelty to the defining instrument of popular music. In the late ’70s, Fender produced the Tele with a green-burst Antigua finish that was originally used on the Coronado.  For shipping, please enquire for details!
